Sellers, if you are like most you want timely feedback following a showing. Actionable feedback! I would if we were selling our house.
More and more agents are adopting systems that automate the request for showing feedback. I understand their popularity because one theoretically becomes more efficient.
However, in our business as a listing agent we contact the buyer agent directly to ask for their opinions. Even though this person-to-person contact takes more time we know that: a) we are more likely to get the information and b) the feedback will be higher quality.
Well, technology can only do so much.
We recently received an automated system request for feedback. The problem…someone (agent or staff member) did not setup the system correctly and therefore, I have no idea which property to reference.
This experience offers insight into not just WHAT we do, but WHY, and how small things when multiplied can make a big difference in the outcome.
